What we look for in a tutor.
Strong in math or science
Most of our students need algebra, calculus, physics, chemistry, biology, or statistics. Deep knowledge of one subject beats shallow knowledge of six.
You teach the why
We do not drill procedures. Our tutors explain what a concept actually means so the understanding transfers to the next problem.
Reliable and local
Sessions happen in the student’s home across Bend and Central Oregon, so you need a car and a schedule you can keep.
Genuinely good with kids
Patience matters more than credentials. Many of our students arrive frustrated and convinced they are bad at the subject.
